OUR RESEARCH GENERATES HIGH QUALITY RELEVANT DATA THAT GUIDES OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ULTIMATE YIELD AGRONOMY CUSTOMERS.

Ultimate Yield Research has made considerable strides in advancing food production on the prairies, producing some of the most up-to-date research on soil fertility in Western Canada. Our researchers study real life science-based solutions for issues identified by our customers, and the findings have assisted growers with making better management decisions.

Rigorous data management generates results that are statistically accurate, reproducible and publishable. Studies are conducted as local, independent projects – none of our research is sponsored by input manufacturers or suppliers so that growers are given impartial recommendations.

All Ultimate Yield Agronomy customers have access to our research compendium, as an annual summary publication of Ultimate Yield Research results.

WE BELIEVE EVERY FIELD – ACRE BY ACRE – HAS THE POTENTIAL TO TEACH US SOMETHING NEW.

Over two years, and across several locations, increased yields and minimized Aphanomyces root rot infection were observed in research pea plots. Combinations of pre- and post-emergence herbicide, seed placement, sidebanded and foliar fertility resulted in surprising pea crop responses.

Crop quality and soil residual levels were improved by applying the same rate of Phosphorus and Potassium over five years of study. Significantly higher yields were also observed.

During the 2019 season, research comparing various granular and liquid nitrogen forms and rates found that NH3 produced the highest yields at 120lb/ac-N at three locations in three crop types.

2017 and 2018 canola trials showed an average 11% yield increase with Rogue II versus the control.
